New Baby!

Bella Grace was born at 10:02pm on Saturday, August 2nd. She weighed 8lbs. 1oz. and was 20in. long. Even though she put me through 17 hours of labor (and I had no epidural), we all made it through the day - exhausted, but happy!

Night of Arrival

Austin, of course, was excited from the start. He couldn't wait to meet his baby sister. He spent the whole day at the hospital with us, along with Grandma and Poppy, Meme, and Aunt Heather.

By Monday, Bella and I were able to come home. It seemed strange being Bella was only technically 1.5 days old when we arrived at home. She had developed Jaundis, but luckily she was obtaining enough fluids and indirect sunlight that her yellow/orange color went away.

So, we've been home now for a little over 2 weeks. Bella is growing quickly and changing almost daily...all the more reason for me to continue to update my blog (at least weekly). Here are some pictures we have taken over the last couple of weeks. Enjoy!
