So, Grandma Samson stayed and visited with us all last week. It was great having her here...she helped out with Bella (who easily fell asleep in Grandma's arms), played with Austin and his crazy games, helped me attempt to put together a beautiful Thomas Kinkade puzzle (that I still need to finish), and got me hooked on HGTV.
Once the week was up, we headed up to Omaha to take Grandma Samson home and see Aunt Renee, Uncle Jim, Rachel, and Julia again. As usual, the kids played hard and the adults spent time conversing, eating, and watching the kids.
Austin always enjoys visiting Omaha and we Bella eventually enjoys the trips as well. She slept great in the car and even at night (though somehow she managed to stay up till midnight...that is fixed now, thankfully).
